Chris Staples is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Baird Trust Company. He has over 20 years of experience in trust and estate planning. After several years in private practice in Louisville, Chris has spent the bulk of his career in the financial services industry in roles ranging from trust tax officer & associate legal counsel for the private wealth group at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio and as a wealth planner with PNC Wealth Management. Chris received a B.A. degree from Northern Kentucky University and a J.D. from the University of Louisville. He served in the U.S. Navy and the Naval Reserves. Chris is a board member for Home of the Innocents, Louisville Nature Center, and the Louisville Youth Philanthropy Council. Chris joined the predecessor to Baird Trust, Hilliard Lyons Trust Company, in 2014.
