Elinor J. “Elie” Foy

Elinor J. “Elie” Foy is a member of the Trusts & Estates practice group of Wyrick Robbins in Raleigh North Carolina. Her practice focuses on wealth transfer planning, charitable planning, and trust and estate administration. Elie advises individual clients on various estate planning issues, including the tax-efficient transfer of wealth and business succession planning. In addition, she advises private foundations, supporting organizations, public charities and other nonprofit organizations about governance, tax compliance, grant- making, and fundraising issues.

Ms. Foy is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. She is a member of the North Carolina and Wake County Bar Associations, 10th Judicial Bar and Wake County Estate Planning Council. Ms. Foy received her B.A. degree in English and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law. She received her LL.M. degree in taxation, with distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
